The Brisbane Broncos take on the Gold Coast Titans in the National Rugby League at Suncorp Stadium on Friday 16th May.
There will be two curtain-raiser games leading up to the main event.
The first is Queensland Universities v NSW Tertiaries, kicking off at 3.50pm followed by the Under 20's National Youth game between the Broncos and Titans commencing at 5.20pm.
NOTE: Because of this additional event, the free travel offer for Friday 16 May will apply from 12 noon instead of the usual "from four hours before main game kick-off".
PUBLIC TRANSPORT AND ROAD CLOSURE INFORMATION
TRAVEL FREE TO THE MATCH
Present your game day ticket to receive free travel to and from the Stadium on Brisbane Transport bus and Queensland Rail services. This free travel offer applies for this event from mid-day until 4 hours after the game ends.
TRANSLINK BUS SERVICES (Brisbane Transport only)
Patrons can catch regular timetabled services. In addition, special bus services from the City, Carindale, Eight Mile Plains / Mt Gravatt (Garden City), Chermside and The Gap run direct to the Stadium at regular intervals for two hours before kick-off. At the end of the game for a one hour period, high frequency bus services will operate.
QUEENSLAND RAIL SERVICES
Milton and Roma Street are the closest stations for patrons travelling to and from the Stadium. Regular timetabled services and any additional services run to and from both stations.
On game days, parking restrictions apply in the local area surrounding the Stadium. Fifteen minute parking limits apply in most restricted areas unless otherwise signed. On the spot fines will be issued to offending motorists. Illegally parked vehicles will be towed at the owner’s expense.
MAJOR ROAD CLOSURES
Major road closures will apply from the end of the game for one hour. To ensure pedestrian safety, Caxton Street between Petrie Terrace and Hale Street may need to be closed on hour prior to the match.
