National Rugby League – Round 7

Fri 13.04.2012

The Brisbane Broncos won't be taking their game against the Canberra Raiders for granted.

Last time both teams met at Suncorp Stadium, the Broncos jumped out to a match-winning lead only to see the Raiders hit back to take the match into extra time. A Peter Wallace field goal secured Brisbane the win but a lot of fans had a new found respect for the Green Machine that day.

Nobody has given Canberra much of a chance in 2012 but underated coach David Furner has his young troops fit and motivated and will again be hard to toss.

But Anthony Griffin will be wary and with Origin just around the corner, his charges will be ready and at the top of their game for this contest.

Broncos and Raiders games traditionally feature plenty of attacking football so secure your seats for what promises to be a great game.
