General Information

What is the Stadium's seating capacity?

The Stadium's capacity is approximately 52,500.

Can the general public see inside the Stadium during non-event days?

We are happy to arrange Stadium Tours for groups of 15 or more people at a time and day to suit, subject to availability. Information on tours can be found in our Tours section of the website.

Catering (Food & Beverage)

Where are the general public catering and bar outlets located?

There are 24 food and beverage outlets in the Stadium on Levels 3, 5, 6 and 7. There are 32 public bars throughout the Stadium located on Levels 3, 4, 5 and 7.

Are the restaurants open to the public prior to each game?

The Stadium's hirer is the appropriate contact for all event related corporate dining opportunities.

Are there restricted areas where you can and cannot drink?

The Stadium is a fully licensed venue. Unlicensed areas can be provided within the Stadium, depending on the requirements of each hirer.

Conditions of Entry

Can I bring in my own esky of food and drinks?

Patrons are generally not permitted to bring food and beverage products purchased at commercial outlets outside the Stadium's licensed area into the Stadium. This does not apply to patrons with special dietary requirements, provided that such food or beverages are not packaged in prohibited containers. Eskies will be permitted inside the Stadium but will be subject to a search and MUST be able to fit under a seat.

Are umbrellas allowed in the Stadium?

You are able to bring an umbrella to the Stadium however the umbrella is not to be opened while you are in the Stadium.

Does my ticket allow me to enter the Stadium and out again if needed?

Passes-out are now issued at the Northern and Southern Plaza ends of the Stadium.

What are your conditions of entry?

Terms of Entry signage will be provided for the information of all patrons at each entry gate.

What items are prohibited?

Offensive attire, items that may cause a hazard or compromise safety, or that have the potential to cause injury, nuisance or inconvenience to any other person. Commercially packaged food (such as items purchased at fast food outlets, large packets of snacks, etc) are not permitted. You may bring your own home made food (such as sandwiches, biscuits, etc).

Do you have a cloak room?

Items which are not permitted into the venue may be stored at the Northern and Southern entries of the Stadium. Cloaking of other items is not permitted.

Disabled Patrons

Is there designated parking for disabled patrons?

The draft Traffic and Transport Management Plan indicates that parking for persons with a disability will be available on Cordova Street and Castlemaine Street. Vehicles must display a blue disability parking permit.

Is there wheel chair access to all seating areas?

Seating areas which are accessible to wheelchair users are available on all levels of the Stadium with the exception of Level 6 West.

Where is the drop off point for disabled patrons who arrive by car?

Caxton Street - immediately north of Gates D and E (northern entry gates). Castlemaine Street - corner of Chippendal Street close to lift access for Gates A and B (southern entry gates).

Can I access the other levels by the lifts if I am unable to walk up the stairs for a medical reason?

Lifts will be available for persons with mobility difficulties.

Is there wheel chair access into the Stadium at the main Southern and Northern Plazas?
  • Yes. Accessible gates are available in the following locations:
  • Gates A and B - South
  • Gate C (Members/Corporates) - North and East
  • Gates D and E - North

Entry Points into the Stadium - Media/Corporates

I am with the media, where do I gain access?

The media entrance is off Castlemaine Street.

I am attending a corporate suite or box. Where do I gain access?

Your match day ticket will list the correct gate for you to enter.

Function Rooms/Resturants

How many function rooms are at the Stadium?

There are eight function rooms throughout the Stadium varying in capacity from 78 persons to 800 persons.

Can you hire the function rooms out?

Yes function rooms are available for hire on non-event days. Please contact the Stadium on 3331 5000 and speak to the Functions Coordinator.

Merchandise

There are two permanent merchandise outlets selling code related items on event days. These are located at the Level 3 North and South entrances. There is also a Stadium Shop located at Level 3 North East, between Gates C and D.

No Smoking Policy

Can I smoke in the venue?

From 1st January 2005, Suncorp Stadium became a smoke-free venue.

Parking at Venue/Surrounding Streets

Is there parking at the venue?

There is no available parking at the Stadium however there are parking stations available within easy walking distance of the Stadium.

Are there any parking restrictions near the Stadium?

Yes. On event days, parking restrictions will apply in the local area surrounding the Stadium (1.5km radius from the Stadium). Fifteen minute parking limits will apply in most of the restricted areas. On-the-spot fines will be issued to offending motorists.

Public Transport

Where is the closest train station to the Stadium?

The closest rail station to the Stadium is Milton Road. A pedestrian walkway directly from the Stadium to the station is located at the Southern Plaza. The next closest rail station is Roma Street.

Where do I get transport information relating to the Stadium?

Is there a taxi rank at the Stadium, if so where is it?

A taxi rank is located in Castlemaine Street outside Sports House.

Can I park in the city and walk to the Stadium?

Yes. Proceed along Roma Street towards Petrie Terrace and walk towards the Stadium along either Milton Road or Caxton Street.

What are the office hours of the Stadium Management on non event days?

Office hours are 8:30am - 5:00pm. Our office address is Gate F, Level 2, 40 Castlemaine Street, Milton, Qld 4064.

Do you coordinate venue tours?
