Queensland Roar is poised to create history in the return semi-final against Sydney FC at Suncorp Stadium next Friday (8 February).
Following the first semi final in Sydney on the weekend which resulted in a 0-0 draw, the Roar plans to use its home ground advantage and vocal supporters to progress to the preliminary final of the Hyundai A League.
The Roar's Mitch Nicholls is excited about next week's game.
"We want the win and hopefully we will get a good crowd, maybe even close to 40 000.
"It's going to be a good game; another hard, physical one and if we get on top of them, with the home support and an early goal, I think we'll push on from there," he said.
Tickets for the game are now on sale through Ticketek (phone 132 849 or online atwww.ticketek.com.au )
Ticket prices start at $24 for an adult, $15 for a concession and $65 for a family.
Suncorp Stadium General Manager Paul Sergeant has encouraged patrons to book in advance to avoid delays.
"We don't want people caught in ticket queues and missing the start of the game particularly when there is a simple booking option as ezy Ticket that allows people to pre-purchase online and then print their tickets out from their home PC," Mr Sergeant said.
