Rail commuters on the Gold Coast / Beenleigh lines attending Saturday night’s Brisbane Broncos and New Zealand Warriors game should be aware of major trackworks being undertaken this weekend.
Queensland Rail has advised from the first service (12am) on Saturday 6 August to the last service (11.59pm) on Sunday 7 August, all trains between Dutton Park and Varsity Lakes will be replaced by buses in both directions at most locations.
Bus replacement services are not available at Varsity Lakes, Altandi and Fruitgrove stations as they will be serviced by frequent scheduled bus services adjacent to the stations.
All replacement bus passengers will alight at Dutton Park where customers will transfer to rail to complete their journey to the Stadium.
Delays of 45 minutes are expected, so remember to plan your journey well in advance.
