NEW VIDEO REPLAY SCREENS ON SHOW

Queensland’s sport fans will now feel even closer to the on-field action with the unveiling of new video replay screens at Suncorp Stadium.

The screens debuted at the Brisbane Doubleheader and will be in play now for all future events.

Queensland's Sports Minister, Mick de Brenni said the screens were part of a $7 million investment at both Suncorp Stadium and The Gabba. They were installed by Watpac.

“The colossal 167 square metre, HD LED video display screens for Suncorp Stadium have been designed to provide excellent image and video quality, even over long distances.

“Investing in this infrastructure will allow sporting codes and event promoters more opportunities to interact with fans and also ensure Queensland continues to be able to attract the biggest and best sporting and entertainment events," Mr. de Brenni said.
