Suncorp Stadium General Manager, Alan Graham, today announced the latest enhancement to corporate hospitality at Suncorp Stadium, the new Diamond Lounge.
Located deep in the heart of the Western Stand, the new Diamond Lounge is Suncorp Stadium’s new corporate facility which will be used by the venue hirers to provide exclusive access to their club’s inner sanctum on event days.
The two-level, 100 person capacity Diamond Lounge offers corporate supporters viewing access to the home team warm-up area.
Mr Graham said hirers are constantly looking for new ways for their supporters to engage with players and feel a part of the club.
“With up to 40 major events scheduled at Suncorp Stadium in 2012, the Diamond Lounge will no doubt be put to good use.
“Keeping infrastructure at sporting venues current is important as it gives hirers additional leverage to gain income and keep their brands strong. It also provides incentives for major sports codes to bring additional events to Brisbane as they get a better return for their code.
“The new Diamond Lounge was built as part of the reconstruction of Western Stand facilities destroyed by last year’s floods.
He said it put Suncorp Stadium at the cutting edge of corporate hospitality.
“Entertaining clients at sporting events has always proven to be a successful way of building relationships.
“This lounge provides hirers with another unique value-add where their supporters can actually watch the team warm up before a match,” he said.
In addition to the Diamond Lounge, The Stadium now has a range of new, world-class facilities including dressing rooms, a press conference room, medical and officials rooms, an event staff muster room and Stadium Control room.
