National Rugby League – Round 13

Sun 03.06.2012

Stand-by for round 4 of the National Rugby League's equivalent of The Master (Wayne Bennett) v The Apprentice (Anthony Griffin).

Since Griffin has assumed the coaching role at the Brisbane Broncos, his team has come up against Wayne Bennett coached teams three times and has come out on top on all occasions. In fact, as his record in the past two years suggests, Griffin has now shed the apprentice tag to become one of the leading coaches in the game.

But the Broncos mentor of 20 years will be very aware of this statistic and will be digging into his considerable bag of tricks to break his duck against his former pupil.

All of which promises to be a great day of Rugby League action on Sunday 3 June.
