A note from Alan Graham - Suncorp Stadium General Manager

Dear fans of Suncorp Stadium,

I’m seeking your support for an initiative I am very passionate about. The Real and Diverse (RAD) Theatre Group is putting on a show Quavers, playing at QPAC’s Playhouse Theatre later this year from 24-26 October.

I saw the RAD team perform last year and can honestly say it was a lifechanging experience for me. It’s hard to put into words the effect the show had on me and the professionalism and talent on display by the performers.

This year’s play, Quavers, is a Brisbane story that brings haunting joy, exquisite live music and unforeseen celebratory quick beats to the world.

RAD theatre group is a special part of Centacare’s social and life skills offering which supports people with disabilities to meet new people, learn new skills and build confidence in the areas that matter to them most and this year are one of the beneficiaries of the Stadium’s Annual Golf Day.

This year, the RAD team applied for funding and have recently been notified that they were unsuccessful in receiving this funding. As a result, they will need to rely on strong ticket sales to ensure the program maintains its momentum.

The Stadium is supporting RAD by promoting the show as well as having them as a major beneficiary of our Annual Golf Day in addition to our charity partner Hear and Say.

I am asking for your personal support by purchasing tickets either for yourself, your organisation or your family and friends. This is something practical we can all do to support such a wonderful cause.
