June 1st 2021 marks our 18th Birthday since the 2003 Redevelopment of Suncorp Stadium was completed and we opened as a fresh-faced Stadium for a Brisbane Broncos v Newcastle Knights on June 1st.
18 years on and we have survived the 2011 floods, a pandemic and 27 concerts!
Since reopening we’ve hosted over 200 Brisbane Broncos games, over 100 Queensland Reds games, Super Rugby and NRL Finals series, A-League and Super Rugby Grand Final victories, 24 State of Origins, 27 Rugby Internationals and over 200 Football matches including A-League fixtures, Finals and Internationals.
In our first 18 years we’ve had over 18 million patrons attend an event at the Stadium.
