Suncorp Stadium’s reputation as the best rectangular stadium in the world has been enhanced thanks to a state of the art LED lighting system upgrade.

The new system incorporates 500 multi-coloured lights which will provide a giant boost to the fan experience in time for the NRL Preliminary Finals and the Grand Final.

The lighting experience can be timed to music and in synchronisation with the venue’s existing mega screens, theatrical lighting and perimeter signage.

The upgrade will provide the Stadium with greater capability to join in with other Brisbane landmarks when the city is lit up in certain colours to promote or support significant community projects and events.

The system upgrade will be launched Monday night with a ceremony and display of the functional capabilities of the new lights.
