PRE-ORIGIN QUEENSLAND PLAYERS

Before State of Origin came into being in 1980, Queensland played New South Wales in an annual interstate Rugby League competition.

The honour board which was located on the Northern Plaza (Caxton Street end) recognises every player who represented Queensland from 1908 through to 1980.

The honour board is currently in storage as the venue considers plans to update the State of Origin recognition piece to incoporate pre-origin players.
